I have a question - in coderunner when I am editing code I see formatted code. Can I use the same editor for other moodle activities like webpage?
No, sorry Anna. The syntax colouring is done by a JavaScript component called the Ace editor, which is packaged in with CodeRunner. Ace is not a standard part of Moodle and as far as I know CodeRunner is the only Moodle component or plugin that uses it, except perhaps for the Virtual Programming Laboratory plugin.
